The vast collection of EHR data contained in the Auria Biobank includes of course all the ICD-10 diagnosis codes dating back almost 20 years. These make it possible to study interactions, correlations and even time evolution of disease using methods from network theory. The information provided by the network can also be augmented by combining it with other EHR data like laboratory values, patient demographics, everything! This makes the data a unique opportunity and test bed for new innovative approaches to studying disease and developing personalized medicine.
