Call for Papers: Conference on Technology Ethics

Call for Papers for Conference on Technology Ethichs – Tethics 2020 is now open. The conference is organised by the Future Ethics research group of the University of Turku on 21.-22.10.2020 at Turku School of Economics.
Tethics 2020 is scientific but casual in nature, and the aim is to promote technology ethics research and networking as a multidisciplinary field. It is seeking both scientific and practical contributions from the field of technology and ethics on this year’s theme: “Ethical business with technology”. People from different fields and backgrounds are encouraged to participate.
Issues of interest include, but are not limited to:
- AI ethics
- Data economy and ethics
- eHealth ethics
- Ethical implications of digitalization
- Business ethics
- Ethics and software business
- Ethics in design and development of technology
- Ethics and computer games
- Ethics in work
- Teaching of ethics
- Metaethics
Call is open for both full papers (10-15 pages, or 5000 to 7500 words) and short papers (5-9 pages, or 2500 to 4500 words). Template and instructions for paper submission can be found at https://sites.utu.fi/tethics/submission-instructions/
