Digital Futures is a profiling area of the University of Turku, which is supported by the Academy of Finland’s PROFI 2 and PROFI 4 programs. Digital Futures started by focusing on business studies, geospatial research, regulatory studies and research on digital data driven medicine. It now expands to different fields of research including science and technology, health and wellbeing, education, social sciences and digital humanities.
