Third Annual Seminar on Technology Ethics

University of Turku hosts a seminar on technology ethics at Turku School of Economics on 23-24 October. The seminar is organized by Future Ethics, one of the research groups in the Turku School of Economics, in collaboration with Digital Futures.
On Wednesday 23 October, the main focus is on ethics of AI. Virpi Roto, the Professor of Practice in Experience Design in the Aalto University, will give the keynote speech on ”What kind of AI systems should we design?” On Thursday 24 October, the discussion focuses on ethical questions related to data economy. Jaana Sinipuro, Project Director responsible for the IHAN® – Human-driven data economy at Sitra, will give the keynote speech on ”Fairness – key to European Data Economy Model?”
